3 Artists Websites that I Like and Why

1) http://maggietaylor.com/
This web site is simple and effective. Though I can not say that I am a huge fan of Maggie Taylor's work itself, I can say that her web site fits the way that her artwork is. To me Maggie Taylor's work is creepy. And so is the site it gives a kind of Alice and Wonderland feel to the work which is what I believe that she was going for when putting the Site together.

2) http://www.levivanveluw.nl/
I love this web site not only because I absolutely find his work to be amazing but i like the way that the site is set up as well. I like that it is simple just like his work. It allows for easy maneuverability and all his work is easy to find which for me is kind of the point when making a portfolio layout web site

3) http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~yukio-m/intro/index.html
Though I posted this one as third it is by far my favorite. Vector imaging is the reason that I became a New Media major, I love everything about it. However when people look at a vector image I don't think that they really appreciate the complexity of a vector drawing. This site not only showcases the work that the artist has completed, but it also shows the work that went into that completed piece. By taking you mouse and running over each image it shows the strokes that makes up the image or the outline, showing just home much time had to go into the work, and how impressive it really is. This for sure gets a gold star in my book.
